Sirolimus helps prevent inflammation and may help treat geographic atrophy(GA), the advanced form of dry macular degeneration. In this study, the drug is injected into the eye every three months.
This is a Phase I/Phase II clinical trial involving 15 patients. The location is the National Eye Institute Clinical Center in Maryland. The study is not recruiting any new patients but is ongoing. For more information, visit the Clinical Trials website. |
